COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The Vancouver Police Department in conjunction with the Washington State Patrol and the Washington State Army National Guard is presently planning the annual Griffin Warrior exercise which is slated to be held once again at the beautiful Yakima Training Center in Washington State. The dates for this year’s iteration will run from 0700 hrs on the 22nd of May until the late evening of the 25th of May 2017. Please make arrangements to arrive during the day of the 21st of May to ensure you are billeted and matched up with your team. We are looking at a training audience of 30 shooters with live fire and scenario based training.

This year the administration cost will be a $50 fee for attendance and payment will be paid upon arrival at Yakima; no credit cards will be accepted. We will still offer at no cost, bunk space in the barracks and we are presently in consultation to have our meals catered at a very reasonable price.

Please remember that this is a sniper concentration and as such attending members should have the following pre requisites:

1. Completed at least a basic sniper training course,
2. Be equipped and proficient with a sniper rifle with optics capable of shooting 1 MOA.
