This course will focus on the technical aspects of munition interaction with materials, advanced breaching skills, charge construction, tactical implementation, and “heavybreaching” techniques. Training breaches will occur in and on real structures, not range facades.

• Pressure mitigation & control methods (NNTF’s)

PRE-REGS:
A recognized Level-1 breaching certification

• Ballistic Helmet
• ANSI rated, wrap-around eye protection
• Body Armor
• Hearing protection
• Gas mask with filter and/or Respirator (SOTR type)
• Gloves
• Appropriate clothing & footwear
• IFAK/BOK with x2 TQ’s
• Notebook, pen, and pencil
• Scientific calculator (or Smart Phone)
• Flashlight and/or Headlamp
• Small day pack
• Fixed blade knife
• Gerber or Leatherman EOD multi-tool
• Camera (optional)
