Course Description:
This course is designed to expose students to techniques used in the planning and execution of high risk search warrants. A variety of topics will be covered, from intelligence gathering and scouting missions, team assignments, service planning options, and contingency planning.
Instructor:
Corporal Steve Lobdell has been a police officer with the Vancouver Police Department for 18 years and a member of the (Southwest Regional) SWAT Team for 17 years. He has been involved in the planning and execution of hundreds of search warrants. Steve is also the Vice President of the Washington State Tactical Officer’s Association, and an instructor for the WSCJTC/WSTOA SWAT Basic Course.
